Why Instagram is hiding likes on posts?

We all know what Instagram is and how it works, but anyways it is a social platform where users posts their pictures and videos to get it viewed by their followers.

In Instagram there is a feature of liking the posts as we all know but it looks like it will gone soon as Instagram is testing the feature of hiding the likes count to the users. Instagram head says in an interview that the company is doing this feature because they want our followers to focus more on what we are posting not w\on the likes.

However the creator  or the user can still sees the number of likes in his/her posts.

Currently we cant say if this move is permanent or just for testing , but it will definitely affect most of the users of Instagram.
