Right now you cannot forward WhatsApp messages to more than 5 people at a time.
But there is a way in which we can achieve this.
Follow these steps :
- When opening the Whatsapp, at the top right corner you can find three dots. (If you are iPhone user follow the similar steps based on your UI)
- Press that to get a dropdown list.
- Select New Broadcast.
- Now select the members for whom you want to send a message.
Note: If the member you select doesn't have your contact saved they won't be receiving your forwarded message
- Enter a name to that broadcast.
- A new chat with that name will appear on your home.
- Open that chat text or share that message which you wanted to.
- Now all the members in that broadcast will receive the message.
Why you cannot forward WhatsApp messages to more than 5 people at a time?
- Due to the spreading of the fake message quickly through WhatsApp
- The Indian court asked WhatsApp to implement something to stop this.
- So, WhatsApp limited the capacity to forward messages to a maximum of 5 people.
- So, in such a way they can reduce the spreading of fake messages.
- So There is no official way to forward messages to more than 5 people.
