Vivo has sent out invites for an event
on December 9 for the launch of its V-series smartphones in India. We
are expected to see the launch of the V17 smartphone, which was recently
launched in Russia.
The vivo V17 released in Russia had an notched display and diamond shaped module for the cameras at the back, The invite poster shows the phone to have an hole-punch display just like Vivo S1 pro launched in Philippines. We aren’t really sure in what name will Vivo launch the smartphone on December 9.
The vivo V17 runs FuntouchOS 9.2 based on android 9. It sports an 6.38” full HD+ AMOLED display. V17 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset with 8GB of RAM. It will have 128GB of internal storage expandable up to 256GB
On the back V17 to have 48 megapixel main shooter with an 8 megapixel ultra-wide camera which is 108 degree field of view, and an 2 megapixel macro shooter and the device will an 32 megapixel selfie camera.
