 Whether your PC is hanging frequently or its speed has decreased, there can be many reasons for the laptop, PC to slow down.  Such as the presence of viruses, memory space.  But if you have recently bought a new PC, then its speed is very low, then it may have a lot of applications installed in your PC or it may have virus or malware in it.   In such a situation, to increase the PC speed, these applications should be uninstalled as well as PC scan should be done with antivirus.

 Whenever we turn on our PC, there are many programs in it that start running on their own, but we do not have any special need of those programs, they slow down the speed of our PC.  To close these programs, go to the Start button and click in the Run option, type msconfig  and later click on the OK option.

 There are many such software in your PC which you never use, but they take up extra space in the PC.  To uninstall these programs, first go to the control panel, then click on the program and feature option and go there and uninstall whatever software you find to be useless.

 Whenever you run any software in your PC, it creates some temporary files even if you close it.  After a long time, all these files become so high that it slows down the speed of the PC. To delete these temporary files, go to Start> Run> type and type% temp% and click on OK option  Please do it.

 Keep updating your PC software periodically.  Often, if an update comes in our PC, then we ignore it, due to which many software lying in our PC gets updated.  This can also slow down the speed of our PC.

 Many viruses and other spyware, adware viruses keep coming in the computer, which can slow down the speed of your PC.  So at least once a week, make your PC full scan.  If your PC does not have antivirus, there are several antivirus available from the net for a month of free trial that you can install.

 Opening multiple tabs simultaneously can also reduce your PC speed. If your PC is old and internet speed is slow, do not open multiple tabs simultaneously in any browser.
